Confessions!

I figured that a bit more getting to know me wasn't a bad idea, so here we go!

50 things that you probably don't know about me:

  • I come from a family of Greeks. My dad was a Pi Kappa Alpha at the University of Florida, and my grandpa was a Lambda Chi Alpha at Brown University Check out the announcement in the Brown newspaper!
  • I have broken two bones in my life: my collarbone and my foot
  • I am the only grandchild on both sides of my family
  • I attended BMW driving school in 2006
  • I am obsessed with groundhogs

  • I passed my drivers education test the first time
  • I have mild Celiac's disease
  • I could live off of Olive Garden's Chicken & Gnocchi soup
  • I work for the company that makes the tape that Scotland Yard uses for fingerprint collection. Boo-yah!
  • I'm addicted to coffee

  • I'm "in the middle" in terms of politics according to a test I took last night. I'm "very republican" in terms of economic issues and "very liberal" in terms of social issues
  • I took French all throughout high school and two years in college
  • I'm terrified of cockroaches (plunks!) and palmetto bugs

  • I can name all of the presidents of the United States in order (I used to be able to name them in reverse order, too)

  • I have two uncles. One is a fisherman and the other is a lawyer
  • I did ballet, tap, and jazz for eight years growing up
  • I love 80's movies like Top Gun, The Big Chill, Back to the Future, Field of Dreams, Ghostbusters, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pretty in Pink, Dirty Dancing, and The Princess Bride. Yeah. I love me some 80's movies.

  • I played soccer, golf, and volleyball as a kid
  • If I could have any job in the world, it would be working PR with animal shelters or some sort of animal-related non-profit

  • My high school graduating class was 28 people
  • I only wash my hair every other day
  • Unlike most people, I am scared of LITTLE dogs, not big dogs

  • I have two piercings and one tattoo: my ears and my nose, and a heart on my wrist
  • Five things I always keep in my purse: my phone, jewelry, a tape measure, colored pens, and a snack
  • I can use power tools better than most boys, because my dad taught me as a kid
  • I have a few interesting scars: my right thigh from a piece of glass, my left wrist from a cat scratch, my left thumb from a power drill, and above my eye from my mom's dog as a kid
  • I had glasses and braces during middle school (it wasn't a good few years for me, let's be honest)

  • Growing up, I wanted to be a vet or a lawyer
  • Random things on my desk at work: a juju doll, security tape, five note pads and a variety of stick note sizes

  • I am a morning person. Once I'm awake, I'm awake
  • I can change a tire and check my oil by myself
